Continuing a long and glorious tradition here at ianmurdock.com, I’ve decided to migrate to a new weblog system, this time WordPress.
I’ll write more about the migration once I’ve finished it. In the meantime, there’s a good chance things will be a bit squirrelly around here for the next day or two.
Maybe you could try S9Y.org serendepity is also very good.
i just spent part of the w/e playing with both wordpress and textpattern. both are quite nice. textpattern has a higher learning curve, but appears to be more flexible. wordpress will probably get you up and running faster, and if blogging with the occasional “static” page is what you want to do, then it’ll work like a charm. for more complex stuff, the learning curve is probably as high as textpattern’s and at that point i think i like that latter’s design decisions better.
just pure random imho/fwiw/ymmv from the peanut gallery, ’cause i’ve been looking at ’em lately.
i intended to mention – but i hit “post” first – i like the spartan/typographic look of the site.
Oh great, someone is using my package. :)
