New York Times: “WI-FI service is quickly becoming the air-conditioning of the Internet age, enticing customers into restaurants and other public spaces in the same way that cold ‘advertising air’ deliberately blasted out the open doors of air-conditioned theaters in the early 20th century to help sell tickets.”
Wi-Fi it is a great invention but I consider that he is not enough safe.
it encourages the solitary act of working on one’s laptop in a social setting…such that one can be alone in a room full of people
one might be “virtually” alone b/c they may use such access to communicate with their friends, business associates, or other strangers
In my opinion surely like air conditioning, i agree with New York Times.
